Sixteen people, including Ukraine’s interior minister and two children, were killed when a helicopter crashed near a nursery outside the capital Kyiv, the head of national police, Igor Klymenko, said. Among the dead are several top officials of the interior ministry including Interior Minister Denys Monastyrsky.
Emergency services are working to rescue children and employees after the crash near Brovary, Kyiv region.
