Georgia’s parliament has overridden the president’s veto of the so-called ‘foreign agents’ bill. Daily protests against the controversial bill have taken place for weeks in the capital, Tbilisi.
Thousands of Georgians are afraid the legislation will curb human rights and freedom of the media and compromise the country’s bid to join the EU.
