Colombia is seeking UNESCO World Heritage status for Torres del Parque, designed by Rogelio Salmona, one of Latin America’s most influential modern architects. Salmona’s work, known for its creative use of brick, integration of water elements, and emphasis on public spaces, helped transform Bogotá during a period when the city was becoming increasingly closed off.
