A phone recording of US President Donald Trump has surfaced in which he is asking the top election official in the province of Georgia to arrange for his winning votes.

The Washington Post has released these recordings. In this, President Trump is telling the Republican Secretary of State  Brad Raffensperger, "I just want to find 11780 votes."

At the same time, Brad Raffensperger is telling Trump that the Georgia results are correct.

Democrat candidate Joe Biden won the presidential election in the province of Georgia.

Joe Biden won a total of 306 electoral votes in the US presidential election, while Trump received 232 votes.

President Trump has been alleging massive fraud in elections since the vote. However he has not offered any evidence.

All 50 provinces of the US have now certified the election results. This has been done after re-counting and appeals in some provinces.

US courts have so far canceled 60 petitions filed against Joe Biden's victory.

The US Congress will accept the election results on 6 January 2021.

Joe Biden will take the oath of office of the US President on 20 January 2021.

In Georgia, voting will be held on 05 January 2021 for two Senate seats. The result of these seats can affect the balance of power in the state of Georgia.

If both candidates of the Democrat Party win, both the Republican and Democrat parties will have equal representatives in the Senate, and then the deciding vote will be with Vice-President-elect Kamala Harris.

At the same time, the Democrats already have a majority in the lower house of Congress.

What's in call recording?

The Washington Post has released a call recording. In this, US President Trump can be heard pressuring the Secretary of State of Georgia.

He insists that he has won the election of Georgia and that there will be nothing wrong in saying that the counting has been done again.

At the same time, Brad Raffensperger replies, "President, the challenge before you is that the data you are showing is incorrect."

President Trump also threatens the officer with possible legal consequences.

He says, "You know what they have done and not giving information about it is a crime." You cannot allow this to happen. This is a big danger for you and your lawyer Ryan.''

President Trump asked Brad Raffensperger to re-review the results of the state.

The White House has not yet commented on the call recordings being released.

Former defense ministers appeal to Trump

All ten former defense ministers living in the US have appealed to President Trump not to question the election results and not to involve the military in the controversy.

In an article written for the Washington Post, former ministers said that efforts to involve the US military in resolving the election dispute would take the country to dangerous, illegal and unconstitutional lands.

In the article, they said that it is important for the change of power in the Department of Defense to be done in a transparent manner.
