Pakistan has said that it will not allow India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi to pass through the airspace of his country.

Modi is visiting America on September 21, where he will attend the 'Howdy Modi' program in Houston on September 22.

Refusing permission to pass through his airspace, Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi said, "There was a request from Hindustan that Wazir-e-Azam Narendra Modi of Hindustan wanted to go to Germany via Pakistan's airspace. Given the situation in Kashmir, we have decided that we will not allow it. ''

He said, "We have conveyed to the Indian High Commission that we will not allow our airspace for the flight of Narendra Modi."

Mahmood Qureshi said, "India had sought permission from Pakistan to use airspace for Modi to go to Germany on September 20 and return on September 28, but we did not give."

During this time Modi will reach New York to address the General Assembly of the United Nations. Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan is also coming to New York and has said that he will raise the issue of Kashmir in the UN General Assembly. Imran Khan will address the UN General Assembly on 27 September.

It is also being said that according to international law, Pakistan cannot ban the use of its airspace by the Indian Prime Minister. If Pakistan rejects this and India challenges the International Civil Aviation Organization, Pakistan may have to pay heavy fines.

Earlier, Pakistan had also not allowed the aircraft of President Ramnath Kovind to fly from its airspace.

President of India Ramnath Kovind was scheduled to leave for a trip to Iceland to visit three countries, for which his plane was to leave from Pakistani airspace. But Pakistan did not give permission.
